Purpose Summary – ladybug122718

‘Hidden’ species may be surprisingly common

Cryptic animals are seen to be a part of the wildlife environment. Analyses have shown that they are found to be a major part of the animal kingdom that is found in insects and reptiles. The counterintuitive is that cryptic animals are seen to be found in the genetic barcode of species. And that they can be found in animals that we see today.

That Daily Shower Can Be a Killer

The counterintuitive of this is that showers can be dangerous if you are not careful. They talk about how studies have shown that showers can be seen as a hazard for people. This literally is the most stupid thing I saw as, yes they can be dangerous if you don’t have a shower mat. Like for example this happen “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVNvCcooqi8“. This is why you should always have either bath slippers or a bathroom mat.

KFC, Pizza Hut, and Sphinx

The counterintuitive is to have fast-food restaurants next to the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx which are some of Egypt’s most historical landmarks. Putting american fast-food restaurants across from architecture takes away the enchantress and sacredness of the Egyptian site. The restaurants being placed in an area that is populated by tourists shows the influence that american companies have over the world.

I did ask that you begin every summary with the words: It seems counterintuitive that . . . .

Your “Hidden Species” paragraph does not actually help us understand what Cryptic Species are, Ladybug, which should be its primary responsibility. Its language is also oddly indirect. Instead of saying what things ARE, you say, four times, that they “are seen to be,” that they are found to be,” that they “are seen to be found,” and that they “can be found.” Is that deliberate? It sounds as if you don’t want to take responsibility for your point of view.

Your “Daily Shower” paragraph doesn’t actually identify what’s counterintuitive about the subject matter. Showers are the last place most people would consider dangerous; so, if they are, that fact would defy intuition. You don’t need to solve the problem with recommendations.

Your “Sphinx” paragraph does identify what “incongruous” about turning around at the Pyramids and seeing that last thing you’d expect: KFC. Your language use is imprecise here in a different way. The adjective “counterintuitive” can’t BE anything. That would be like saying “The beautiful is the way her hair frames her face.” Your other sentences say, in short, “Putting takes away” and “Being placed shows the influence.” Do you need help addressing these phrasing problems?
