  1. Stress
  2. Stress relieving methods
  3. Being busy and stressed and delulu
  4.  Mental health and getting work done effectively
  5.  Taking breaks helps get more work done as it gives you a chance to refocus.
  6. Mental exhaustion drains productivity; therefore work is accomplished more effectively by taking quality breaks and proper care of oneself.

At first blush, this sounds specific enough, but I’m past the first blush stage already, and I won’t be comfortable until this is argued in a much narrower context or setting. FIRST let’s take a really specific example that can be convincingly demonstrated and THEN we can expand out to the broadly general: Breaks are always good.

Working on a mind-numbing, repetitive task that engages only one part of our brains: running calculations on a series of tests, say, may lead to fatigue very quickly and result in lots of errors after an hour or so of uninterrupted work.

But prolonged creative work: novel-writing or musical composition, for example, might really suffer from interruption and require MUCH more effort to get back to the “flow.”

You won’t have my full endorsement of your proposal until you distinguish between the kinds of work that require breaks, and what would qualify as a “quality break” for those endeavors.

Let me know what you think.

Minimalistic interior design in offices and homes negatively affects one’s creativity

Creativity and Individuality are being negatively affected by simple, repetitive minimalistic interior design.
