Lobsterman, I like the general topic of Artificial Intelligence, but your attempt to narrow your thesis has not succeeded. You want to be able to use evidence from way too many angles to promote a notion that would take a book to adequately advance.

Let’s talk about ways to narrow your focus to a single concern you have about the ABUSE of AI (which would be the only reason to regulate it, right?) and how you think (if you in fact DO think) it could be regulated.

If you conclude at the end of your research that we’re really just screwed no matter how we try to rein in this big fat unprecedented new power over individuals, then maybe THAT could become your thesis, but on the basis of one tiny discrete example which you have thoroughly investigated.

    How does that sound?

We’ll be having our Hypothesis Zoom conference in a few minutes.
