My Hypothesis—maxxpayne47
- Cryptocurrency adoption and its correlation with global economic stability
- The role of decentralized finance (DeFi) in reshaping traditional banking systems
- Cryptocurrency’s impact on the future of cross-border transactions
- The environmental sustainability of Proof-of-Stake (PoS) versus Proof-of-Work (PoW) cryptocurrencies
- Cryptocurrency’s potential to disrupt government-controlled fiat currencies
- “The Paradox of Fear and Greed: How Emotions Drive Cryptocurrency Market Stability”
I love the overall TOPIC, Maxx, but this is not a Hypothesis, or even a single topic. It’s 6 topics in search of a Hypothesis.
A dead giveaway that you haven’t written a Hypothesis is that it isn’t a sentence; therefore, it doesn’t make a researchable, arguable CLAIM.
Which of these 6 segments of the Cryptocurrency Topic do you plan to pursue, and what do you PROPOSE as a claim you should be able to prove or disprove?
Need an example?
If yes, please re-read the entire Assignment, which illustrates clearly how to graduate from broad topic claims to a focused, declarative claim that might be true.
#4 is my favorite, if we’re choosing. A hypothesis that might make sense on the sustainability topic could be: It’s only a matter of time before humanity rejects the monumentally wasteful server farm operations devoted to “mining” Bitcoin. Such farms already represent an unconscionable percentage of the energy used by many countries at the expense of the rest of the economy.
See the difference?
Hi Professor, I have been working on a hypothesis this past weekend and I would like to have your feedback on it, and advise on how to narrow it down further if required. “Hypothesis: The Decline of the U.S. Dollar as the Global Reserve Currency Will Lead to Economic Stability and Prosperity in the United States.” I think it is a very unorthodox approach to global economy and very counterintuitive given that majority would probably disagree, which gives me space to prove my hypothesis just around the given word limit.
